The show is based on and in Rural American towns. Two hosts explore and travel to rural towns throughout America. The hosts interview and talk with "the locals" to find out what makes them and their town "tick". In other words, why they are in this small town now, what made them want to stay and why would someone visit here? The hosts decide to visit specific towns based on random selection and arrive unannounced, thus providing the most accurate interpretation of the resident's views of where they live. The host's deliver a unique chemistry on camera through humor and the ability to retrieve the true story of each rural town. The host's stem back through a long history of working together. They connect with one anther through humor and thought to design an intelligent but simple story line to educate and entertain the audience. The host's both come from rural American towns, so they are able to relate to rural America. Their perspective is humorous, strategic, objective, and most importantly…interesting. Why It Works: We believe that this age demographic works because everyone has an aunt, uncle, cousin, parent or grandparent that lives in or grew-up in a rural community. The fascination behind why they stay is not only intriguing to the viewer for the history, but also intriguing as a humorous standpoint of rural America (humoristic draw/hook).
